Manhattin Inc. ("Manhattin") provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables landlords, property managers, tenants, and service providers to manage leases, payments, maintenance requests, operational data, and communications efficiently (the “Platform”).

Manhattin is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including:

  • Quebec’s Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25)

Manhattin integrates artificial intelligence services, including OpenAI and xAI, to support features such as automation, document analysis, content generation, and conversational assistance.

When AI-assisted features are used:

  • Text or data submitted by users may be transmitted to OpenAI or xAI for processing
  • Data is transmitted solely to perform the requested functionality
  • Manhattin does not permit AI providers to use submitted data to train public models
  • Personally identifiable information is minimized or anonymized where reasonably possible prior to transmission
  • Data transmitted to AI providers is not retained by Manhattin beyond what is necessary to deliver the service

Users may choose not to use AI-assisted features where available.


5. How We Use Personal Information

Manhattin uses personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform
  • Manage user accounts, subscriptions, and billing
  • Facilitate communication between tenants, landlords, and property managers

Manhattin does not sell or rent personal information.

  • Deleted accounts are permanently purged within ninety (90) days, unless retention is legally required

Manhattin implements administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:

  • TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit
  • Role-based access controls and least-privilege access

No system is completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.
